The presentation of a Christmas school concert by the students of Clonroche National School has become one of the highlights of the school calendar and a much anticipated event in the village. Every second year, the students, under the direction of their teachers, get an opportunity to perform on stage in Clonroche Community Centre. The use of proper microphones and lights adds to the excitement of it all.
The concert gives the students an opportunity to showcase their talents and to foster and develop the work done in the school during performing arts classes.
The positive comments from present and past pupils are a testament to the concert’s appeal and worth.
